1991: The Year Punk Broke is David Markey’s cult documentary capturing life on the road with Sonic Youth and Nirvana during their tour of Europe in late 1991. Featuring live performances by other seminal bands of the time, including Dinosaur Jr, Babes in Toyland, Gumball, and American Punk icons, The Ramones.
This screening will be followed by a special virtual Q&A with director of 1991: The Year Punk Broke, David Markey.
