Young Programmers Festival 2024: Cold War 15
A beautiful, heart-breaking film from Paweł Pawlikowski, this masterpiece in modern cinematography is not something to be missed on the big screen. It's a love story told over several decades that crosses the Iron Curtain.
Part of our Young Programmer film season - Communist History
For our festival, we chose to emphasise the vast, diverse nature of Communist History by selecting from both the genres of comedy, and drama. We initially shortlisted a wide range of films, spanning from historical epics to intimate dramas.
The films we finally chose represent a wide range of different perspectives on the history of the Communist movement, from the romantic drama of two musicians, to a comedy surrounding its biggest leader.
Please note - there will be no trailers before this film! Instead there will be an introduction by our Young Programmers, so do please arrive on time.
