Kaijuly Raids Again!
Just when the world thought it was safe from giant monsters, a three-headed terror out of space descends upon the Earth, threatening to destroy everything. Things look bleak, but planet Earth has a few giant monsters of its own. The great winged guardian Mothra steps up to save humanity, but she can’t defeat the mighty Ghidorah alone.
Can Godzilla and the wretched Rodan be convinced to set their destructive differences aside and join Mothra’s cause? Could such an unlikely trio even stand a chance against this new foe? Find out in Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster!
From Ishirô Honda, director of the original Gojira (1954), this global giant monster throwdown introduces Godzilla’s most formidable adversary in King Ghidorah. Though the Godzilla series has been rebooted and reimagined many times, through its Heisei and Millenium eras, even in the recent Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), Ghidorah has always returned to challenge Godzilla’s reign. Kaiju fans should not miss this rare chance to witness the first of their many clashes on the big screen.
Showing as part of KaiJuly, a season of films celebrating Japan’s giant monsters, to coincide with the 60th anniversary of Gamera – the Giant Monster.
