As part of our new weekly Family Time series, experience the epic musical adventure of Mulan on the big screen.
The independent young Mulan attempts to navigate her future and bring honour to her family in Imperial China. When war breaks out, her elderly father is called to join the army. Though Mulan is set to get married and become “A Girl Worth Fighting For”, she disguises herself as a man to take her father’s place and protect him from harm. In this all-male environment, Mulan must push herself to prove what a girl is capable of.
Accompanied by a spiritual guardian in the form of smart-mouthed dragon Mushu (voiced by Eddie Murphy), Mulan’s noble quest to take care of her loved ones is packed with exciting action, unforgettable songs, and lots of laughs along the way.
Mulan is rated U, though it does contain mild threat and violence during battle scenes. For fans of The Lion King, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Moana.
Family Time screenings feature subtitles and low-level lighting for accessibility and comfort for all. Please find more information about Family Time here.
