Two writers of Indian-set crime series discuss their latest works. Abir Mukherjee is the creator of the Captain Sam Wyndham and Sergeant Surrender-Not Banerjee series set in Calcutta in the early 1920s.
In A Necessary Evil, the pair unravel the mystery of the assassination of a Maharajah’s son. Vaseem Khan presents the latest Baby Ganesh Agency novel, The Strange Disappearanceof a Bollywood Star. Inspector Chopra and his elephant sidekick are on the case in Mumbai.
