Sheffield Film Festival is proud to present a special screening of Gurinder Chadha’s Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging in collaboration with Film Girls Galore and York St. John University.
Based on the books by Louise Rennison, Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging follows 14-year-old Georgia Nicholson as she attempts to woo Robbie, one half of a pair of fraternal twins. Prone to getting herself into embarrassing situations and worried about her parent's marriage, Georgia discovers that being a teen can be a pain in the neck.
Programmed by Polly Bilton and the Film and Media students of York St. John University and female film club Film Girls Galore, the two have joined forces to bring this special screening to Sheffield Film Festival.
The screening will be followed by a friendship bracelet making workshop led by Film Girls Galore.
Please note that this is a relaxed screening.
