At Eternity's Gate + Live Satellite Q&A 12A
During his final years, Vincent van Gogh takes himself into exile, grappling with his religion and mental illness. Here, he begins to focus on his relationship with eternity rather than the pain his art causes him in the present.
At Eternity's Gate is a unique journey inside the complex mind of Vincent van Gogh, a man who overcame scepticism, ridicule and illness to create some of the world's most beloved works of art. Academy Award Nominee Willem Dafoe delivers one of the best performances of his long, fruitful career as van Gogh.
This screening will be followed by a live-streamed Q&A with writer/director Julian Schnabel in conversation with Carol Jacobi, exhibition curator of Tate Britain's Van Gogh and Britain.
