Mother Country “Trailer” + Words of Director Pablo Navarrete

Sheffield-based British/Chilean documentary filmmaker Pablo Navarrete will introduce and screen an exclusive clip from his forthcoming film Mother, Country, which will have its world premiere at the Showroom on Wednesday 3 July.

Pablo Navarrete's parents fled Chile after the 1973 military coup, arriving in the UK as political refugees. Nearly 50 years later, "Mother, Country" follows Navarrete as he returns to Chile with his parents in 2020 to confront their past during a people's uprising.
